Two months later and we’re back with a release that includes support for multiple image formats and image resizing. It also has optional user pins for Ignite, so you can see where your cohorts are painting. Additionally, there are a few bug fixes.

After a month or two or three (who can keep track?), we are finally back with a new release. Josh and I (mostly Josh) have been slaving day and night to get it out to you. What has taken so long, you might ask? How about the Ignite collaboration network! Think of it like multiplayer Shup =)
We’ve also added support for uploading to your own web server, so check out Shup v0.14 now!
And if you’ve got time, we also have a new Shup website. I think it’s pretty sweet.

It has been too long, fair user. In the last two months, many codes have been written. Some will go unreleased (and remain quite mysterious) for now, and other will take their first gentle steps into the sun, as a kitten first crawls from beneath its mother’s heaving belly.
New in this version, I’m proud to say that Shup now allows Debris (and vice versa) to upload its beautiful artwork directly from within Debris! Look for a new version of Debris soon to match. We have also redesigned Shup’s main window and preferences, added new options and the ability to create blank Shup images of custom width and height. Oh, and we now support Flickr for uploading images! And just for rOn, if you right-click the Shup systray icon, you can now capture your desktop from that menu.

This is a big one, folks. With Shup v0.12 we have added Windows Vista functionality! And it’s about damn time, too. Apparently a lot of people are using Vista.
In addition to that and the usual bugfixes, Shup’s image editor now supports the Undo command for the paintbrush and highlighter pen. Imagine yourself painting twenty different strokes then realizing you preferred your art without the last five strokes. Just tap CTRL+Z (or click the Edit -> Undo menu) a few times and you’re back where you want to be.
Finally, I thought it would be nice if Shup could very optionally check for and notify you of new releases, so I added that as well.
Download Shup v0.12 here. And don’t forget to check out our support forum! You can submit bugs, request features, or just post about your love for Shup. (PS: Shup loves you back)

Hey-ho, let’s Shup! Among the updates in Shup v0.09, you’ll find the Stashbox Secure tab! Yes, Joshua T. Cryptomail has been slaving all week to bring you the ability to encrypt (AND decrypt) files locally, prior to uploasting (or not). Download Shup!

Tonight I launched all of my changes for Stashbox.org and its backend. It was basically a total rewrite, but worth it we hope =) And later on we’re gonna launch a new version of Shup too =) I will write a full update soon, good night!
